Don’t Carry the Donkey

Once a father and his son were passing through the market with their donkey. The father sat on the donkey and the boy preferred to walk.
As they traveled, on-lookers said: “How terrible. A big strong man like that riding while the poor boy has to walk.”
So the father got off and he let the boy ride. Then people said: “How disrespectful. The father walks while his son rides.”
So they both got on the back of the donkey. And then people said: “How cruel. Two people riding on that poor donkeys back.”
So they both got off the donkey and started walking on foot. People said: “How foolish. Both of them walk while a perfectly healthy donkey has nothing on his back.”
The man and boy got off and tried to think what to do. They thought and thought, and eventually found themselves carrying the donkey to their shoulders and made them looking foolish.
This thoughtful story by Jim Dornan, clearly tells “You can’t please all. Listen to all, think it over but decide yourself what is the best on that particular time and situation. Your decisions should not be based on what others has to say about it as every other person has different opinions.
Don’t carry the donkey. Please all, and you will please none.
